And their Greatest Works
IT'S MY OPINION AND IT'S FINE IF YOU DISAGREE
Great Composers who are not on this website: Stenhammar, Fanny Mendelssohn, Macdowell, Ginastera, Leopold Mozart, Kaputsin
Hounorable Mentions: Atterberg, Hummel, Reger, Balakirev, Glazunov, Britten, Bloch, Ives and Many More Composers
Question: Is this list your top 100 favorite composers, or what you think are the 100 greatest composers. In terms of greatest composers, I would of course put Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven up there like you did. And also similar to yours, I would put Prokofiev and Scriabin up there. Prokofiev, because he was very prolific and was able to write pretty much every musical form one can think of. Scriabin, because he had synesthesia and was able to understand music in one more way than nearly anybody else: sight. Also, good job putting Czerny at the bottom. Yeah, he didn't really worry too much about his composition skills. He focused more on teaching his students. Anyways, pretty good list!
@EdwardAllanPoe I wrote it's my opinion and it's fine if you disagree, But I probably Should've called it "My 100 Favourite Composers".
And I agree with you that Czerny Is not great, BUT he is a teacher of Liszt, And I love him
